The Navigator's Briefing
Every extraordinary journey begins with a single step.
Some begin with an invitation.
To the Navigator,
Your appointment with the extraordinary is nearly upon us.
Tomorrow, you will be entrusted with a series of destinations, discoveries, and peculiar assignments. Some may require a keen eye. Others, a steady bearing. All have been selected with rather unusual care.
You will travel independently for part of the journey, following clues revealed along the way. At certain locations, you'll discover instructions that unlock the next chapter of your adventure.
The Office assures you that no mountain climbing, sea voyages, or international border crossings are anticipated. Beyond that, our representatives have been advised to remain discreet.
The Navigator's Field Kit
Please assemble the following provisions before departure.
A Compass
An actual compass. Your phone's compass is a backup, not the preferred instrument.
A Charged Phone
Bring a car charger. Your digital atlas and guide will travel with you.
A Pen or Pencil
Certain discoveries may be worth recording.
Comfortable Footwear
Expect a little walking and some time outdoors.
Cute + Comfy Attire
Suitable for an afternoon adventure and an evening out.
A Small Freshening-up Bag
Whatever helps you feel ready for the evening - hairbrush, makeup, deodorant, etc.
A Warm Layer
November has been known to surprise even experienced navigators.
A Word About Your Guide
The Office has assigned you a rather unusual companion known as The Cartographer.
A gentleman of peculiar talents and an almost unreasonable devotion to the art of navigation, he has been entrusted with guiding you through tomorrow's adventure.
Should you find yourself puzzled, uncertain, or hopelessly off course, you need only consult him. He is authorized to provide hints, answer questions, and, when absolutely necessary, point you in the right direction.
He has also been entrusted with certain confidential details. You are welcome to attempt to extract them from him. We cannot promise success.
